The Kroconnect app

Last modified:

Most Connections and Workflows are set up together with Kroconnect staff — see Who sets this up. Once they are in place, the app is where you follow what happens, find your workflow IDs, and manage your subscription.

The Kroconnect app is the web interface for Kroconnect, at app.kroconnect.com. It runs in your browser — there is nothing to install, and it is not a mobile app.

If How Kroconnect works explains what Connections, Workflows, mapping and triggers are, the app is where you see them: which systems you are connected to, which flows are running, and what happened on every single run.

The three parts of Kroconnect

Kroconnect — the platform itself. This is the engine that does the work: it reads data from your systems, applies the mapping, and writes the result to the receiving system. Everything happens here.

The Kroconnect app — app.kroconnect.com. Your window into the engine. It does not process your data itself; it shows you what the engine is doing and lets you manage what is set up. Anything you change here takes effect on the next run of the affected workflow.

The Kroconnect WooCommerce Connector — the WordPress plugin installed in your store. It adds the endpoints Kroconnect needs to read from and write to WooCommerce, plus the sync settings and manual actions in wp-admin. See Kroconnect WooCommerce Connector.

Logging in

Log in with the email address that was invited to your account. Kroconnect uses Auth0 for login, so your password is never stored in the app itself.

If you work with several Kroconnect accounts — as an agency or partner, for example — you can switch between them with the account selector. The whole app then shows data for the selected account: its Workflows, its Connections, its logs.

Connections and Workflows

Your Connections (one per system you integrate with) and your Workflows (one per flow of data, in one direction, for one purpose) each have their own page in the app.

On the Workflows page you see every workflow set up for your account, its type, and whether it is active — and you can pause or activate it with the status toggle. Each workflow also shows a short workflow ID you can copy. This is the ID used in the workflow URL and in the plugin’s sync settings, so this is where you come to look it up.

On the Connections page you see and edit the settings for each connected system — for example Create missing products on your WooCommerce Connection, or which warehouse to use on your Specter Connection.

Secrets stay masked. API keys and tokens are never shown in full. To change one you have to unlock the field first, so an existing credential is never overwritten by mistake.

Jobs and logs

Every time a workflow runs, it records a job (“jobb”). Every request the engine makes during that run is written to the logs, including the exact data sent and the exact response that came back.

This is the audit trail, and it is the first place to look when data isn’t turning up where you expect it. You can search a workflow’s jobs by article number, order number or email address to find out when a specific item was last processed, then open the logs for that run to see what the receiving system answered. See Searching the logs for a product.

The Dashboard, Shipments and Notifications

The Dashboard is the landing page. It shows your workflows at a glance, so you can see straight away whether everything is running, along with the latest news from Kroconnect.

Shipments (“Leveranser”) lists booked shipments with their tracking references, for customers using the Fraktjakt integration.

Notifications (“Notifieringar”) holds messages from Kroconnect about your integrations — for example when a workflow has failed repeatedly, or when a Connection needs to be re-authenticated. Worth checking if something has stopped working.

Your account and subscription

Under My account you find your own details and your subscription:

  • Profile — your user details.
  • Business info — company name, address and billing details.
  • Subscription — the plan you are on and the products it includes. You can change plan from here.
  • Billing — payment method, invoices and receipts.

New customers are guided through a step-by-step onboarding: company details, payment, connecting the systems, and creating the first workflows. For Fraktjakt and Specter this can be started from inside the WooCommerce Connector in wp-admin, so you never have to leave your store to get going.

Language

The app is available in Swedish and English. Use the language switcher to change it; your choice is remembered.

Domain terms are kept in English in both languages — Workflow, Connection, Dashboard, Endpoint — so they match what you see elsewhere in Kroconnect and in this documentation. Where a label is translated, this documentation gives the Swedish wording in quotes after the English, like Exclude incoming (“Exkludera inkommande”).

Good to know

Data is fetched live from Kroconnect, with short-lived caching to keep pages fast. If you have just changed something in one of your systems and want to be sure you are seeing the latest state, use the Refresh (“Uppdatera”) button on the page.

Changes take effect on the next run. Pausing a workflow stops it running again; a run already in progress finishes.
